Oak wood that is carved
The granite stone that is chipped
The willow rods that bend
The sheep's wool that is carded

During the two consecutive Saturdays of BapAmarante, Landra will have a stall at the Municipal Market of Amarante, from eight until two, to invite visitors to jump out of the world of consumption and into the world of radical production. Instead of acquiring products as usual (whether cultivated, gathered, shoed, manufactured or bought for resale), the proposal is to try out movements with materials, which will lead us back to forms of relationship and coexistence with the environment from which they came.

At the centre of the bank are books edited by the Landra, dedicated to ancestral technical knowledge. The visitor picks up a book and chooses the chapter that sparks their greatest interest. Gestures over the materials begin. A sound guide expands and eventually fades, lingering in the memory. The doors are opened to an endless array of transformative gestures of tacit knowledge about working with the diversity of plants, animals and minerals in this bio-region.
