A Festa It is a performance conceived for public spaces that will take place in the streets of Amarante. Resulting from a co-creation process with traditional musicians and dancers, it is based on local heritage and traditions in dialogue with contemporary dance. 

This work stems from an investigation of traditional dances and their histories, placing them in dialogue with contemporary dance through a process of improvisation and composition. Created by Filipa Francisco, with musical direction by Ricardo Freitas, A Festa It features musicians and dancers from the Santa Cruz de Riba Tâmega Singing and Dancing Group and students from the Amarante Conservatory as co-creators.
